Dental Hygienist, Cheryl
I have spent most of my working life in a dental office. I worked for Dr. Buchheister, and now Dr. Manzor, for a total of 31 years. I started my career as a co-op student in dental assisting. From there, I was a receptionist and promoted to Office Manager. I decided to further my career and become a Dental Hygienist. I attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. I received several prestigious awards, including the Clinical Honors Program, Premier Patient Management Award, and I was inducted into the Dental Hygiene Honor Society, Sigma Phi Alpha. I have also participated in many programs there I have donated my time teaching in schools, donated my hygiene skills in “Give Kids a Smile Day”, and the “Heartfelt Project”.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching my 12-year old son play sports, scrap booking, decorating my house, and vacationing. I love to spend quality time with my family and friends.
There is a great deal of history that I have learned through the years from my patients and a lot more of history to be made. I enjoy taking great care of my patients, for being an active member of our dental team, and for providing optimal dental care here at Dr. Manzor’s dental office.
